McMary

Hey everybody-

It's been way too long since I've done stuff. And by 'done stuff' I mean written on my blog. I've been too busy watching a much better thing which is called MikeAlger's Vlog. It's awesome. Click to check it out and watch all the awesome videos. He's really good. He's also in China.

Mary and I have been married for one whole month already. Can you believe it? I hardly can. It seems like just yesterday I was moping around still waiting for her to come home.

Now that we've been married for a little while, and have begun to adjust to living with somebody, I want to say that I love being married. It is so great. I love finding new little quirks about her personality, her likes and dislikes. It's a lot of fun.

My wife is the best ever. She is always thinking about me and she's super sweet.

So right now we are just busy with work and life. Mary is working at a toy store called Funfinity. It's in Orem. She loves her job. The people are great. They are one big family and they treat her like one of their own. She's also preparing herself to return to school in the fall. She'll be going to BYU, even though her heart is still at Utah State.

As for me, I am working full-time at Independence High in Provo. I love that job. The kids are interesting, but that's the fun part. It's very rewarding being able to work with those kids. I've been looking for a second job as well. I just applied to work as a work-from-home content writer for web pages. I am hoping to hear back this week from the company.

I'm still in school, and it seems I will be for the rest of time. Mary and I have decided that it will be best if I continue to go to school during the summer months so that I'll be prepared to move to "Junior" status at UVU and begin the seminary teaching program at the Institute Building.

I have only recently decided that I will again change my major to something like advertising. Yes, something like advertising. That's not very specific, but I need to look at all the details first. The reason behind this is that I have had a lot of opportunities present themselves over the past several days that I just cannot ignore. Doors have been opening and it's really surprised me how insanely awesome all of it is. So, in short, I'm going to take this advertising route and work towards other goals, like filmmaking.

So, we're both very excited to see what the rest of this year has to offer. There are so many things going on, and that's where all the fun is. I love having little dinner dates in our little apartment, and watching old seasons of The Office on my iMac. We have fun. Newlywed life has it's challenges, but the great thing is that we don't have to go through it alone, and I've got an amazing wife.

That's us.

Also, those pictures are totally from Chuck E Cheese. Those are some from our engagement photos. Boo. Ya.
